it seems our culture has adopted the idea that if it doesn't make you money, it's not worth doing.
because our entire existence is based on making money, and how much you're monetarily worth.
ah, capitalism. the capitalist theory is genius. human nature is not. we ruined you, capitalism, because we were selfish and lost sight of our compassion (and our dignity) somewhere along the line. i'm sorry we did that to you. and no offense - but i hope i'm around to see you crash and burn. it is inevitable. you are not a sustainable existence, but you are taking a long time to die.
when we go back to barter and trade, we'll only have ourselves and our skills to rely on. we'll see how much the six-figure-suit is worth then.
if you cant do something worthwhile to help us sustain our small hunting-and-gathering community, we'll just kill you. one less mouth to feed.
